Getting What You Asked For
In the book Animal Farm, the animals learn one major lesson. They live on a farm and are owned by a man named Mr. Jones. One day the animals decide that they are tired of being ruled over by Jones, so they decide that they will rebel and start a new farm that they will rule themselves. They call this new farm animal farm, a farm where all the animals are equal. The farm starts of with all of the animals being equal, but as the book progresses, it seems to become less and less equal. The animals decide that they will make commandments or laws to keep everything fair, and then they will elect one of the animals to be in charge to keep everything under control. The pig who is in charge ends up taking over and becoming almost like a dictator. The pig ends up breaking all of the commandments and becomes just like Mr. Jones, the person they hated. So the lesson is that if you want something good or bad, you will probably get it. Also another thing is that power can get the best of anyone. The picture shows the pigs wearing clothes to symbolize them wearing clothes and becoming just like the man Mr. Jones.
